About us

Since the acquisition of Readymix Hungária Kft. in 2019, Duna-Dráva Cement Kft. has been serving its customers at the highest expected standards through more than 30 wholly owned and over 15 joint-venture concrete plants across the country, offering a wide range of products. Both standard and special concrete types such as sulphate-resistant, watertight, frost-resistant, or abrasion-resistant concretes are produced in modern facilities that fully meet today’s technological requirements, using state-of-the-art control systems. In addition to ready-mixed concrete production, the business unit provides on-site delivery and concrete pumping services, supported by a strong, stable foundation.

As part of its quality assurance activities, the produced concrete products are monitored through the operation of an integrated quality management system, which covers ready-mixed concrete production, product development, and sales. The certification of factory production control for the concrete plants is carried out by CEMKUT Kft., and all sites of the business unit apply the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2015 system certified by QUALI-CERT Kft. As part of its commitment to environmental awareness, the MSZ EN ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system has been implemented at all plants since 2016, and at the same time, the facilities were certified according to MSZ 28001:2008 (18001:2007) Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).

In line with sustainable development, from 2026 onward, the C12/15 – C40/50 compressive strength classes of concrete produced by the plants will be provided with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

In close cooperation with Beton Technológia Centrum Kft., continuous and documented internal production control is carried out in accordance with factory production control requirements and the relevant technical regulations. This ongoing production control covers the prescribed frequency and scope of testing (sampling and quality tests), the development of new concrete mix designs, as well as the expansion of the product portfolio.
